  • Raised in northeastern Maine, Emily spent her senior year of high school as an exchange student in Germany. She went graduate summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Clark University with a BA in economics and political science with a focus on global health. After college Emily moved to Brooklyn, NY, where she worked as a paralegal and a professional baker before enrolling in a post-bacc program at Hunter College. She moved with her family back to Maine to complete medical school and family medicine residency at a community hospital that uniquely serves both a rural and urban, underserved demographic. She will continue her training as a hospice and palliative care fellow at MaineHealth in the 2025-26 academic year. She feels it is a privilege to provide care for the people of Maine.
